I am lifting weights for endurance, meaning lifting medium weights with high reps. Lifting for my upper body as well as lower body(alternating days), and I do take rests in between days. In addition, I do ab workouts (like the ones you see on youtube “6 pack in 6minutes/day”) and pushups for core strength and more upper body.
Btw, Im lifting these weights to build endurance in them, Im a sprinter in track and field(16y/o, female). And I also drink whey protein (the powder mixed w/ soy milk) after every workout just to get more protein and also eat pretty healthy. So would this just keep me toned or I should expect to see more muscle mass? (I’ve already seen some progress..)
