Do different types of Abdominal exercises shape the way your abs look?

Okay, so I was wondering if you do certain types of Ab exercises then you’ll shape your abs differently. For example, if you do sit-ups it will make your stomach start to show rounder. I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking. Or am I wrong, and they don’t do any differently. If you know please let me know.
